Concept
Wuji is the state that contains everything, yet exists before all things.
From Wuji arises Yin and Yang, becoming Taiji.
From Taiji emerge the Four Symbols and Eight Trigrams, giving birth to all phenomena.
Mugoku Creation is an activity based on this universal principle of creation.
It becomes symbols and signs.
In space, it becomes Feng Shui.
In art, movement, sound, and life, it becomes a way of harmonizing with nature.
Biography

Osaka Shin Kabukiza Theater in 1959.
Masaki Wakabayashi was born in Osaka, Japan, in 1957.
His maternal grandfather was an influential figure involved in organizing major entertainment and sporting events, including Osaka Kabukiza performances and professional wrestling promotions.
His grandfather’s later-life partner was the female rokyoku performer Yukie Tsukasa, allowing Wakabayashi to grow up surrounded by traditional Japanese performing arts and music.
He also learned the foundations of visual art from professional sign painters, and later studied Xieyi painting under his Taijiquan master.
During childhood, he frequently visited professional wrestling training facilities connected to his grandfather.
In high school, he received private instruction in Yagyu Shinkage-ryu swordsmanship from an acquaintance of his grandfather.
As a young adult, Wakabayashi studied directly under a Wudang Taijiquan master who had served as his grandfather’s personal protector.
Through one-on-one training, he studied Taijiquan, Taiji Gong, Laozi philosophy, the Rootless Tree (Wugenshu), Xieyi painting techniques, and historical research methods.
Around the age of thirty, he received formal recognition of transmission from his master.
In his twenties, he became president of an advertising planning company.
In 1988, he introduced the “Panda Goldfish” from Hong Kong to Japan, attracting attention from television, newspapers, and magazines.
After moving to Tokyo, he worked on various business planning projects, including projects for major companies.
Later, after relocating to Yokohama, he founded and managed a nationwide consumer organization.
Since his thirties, he has continued researching and transmitting Taiji theory, Taijiquan health cultivation, and traditional martial arts.
He has taught Taijiquan and Qigong while continuing creative activities through Mugoku Creation.
Today his work includes publishing books on Eastern philosophy, Oriental medicine, Taiji Gong, and Qigong; creating Xieyi paintings based on philosophical poetry; and producing music inspired by the principles of Wuji and Taiji.
